Broccoli Cheddar Soup

Broccoli and cheese is the perfect creamy combination for this comforting soup.


1 tbsp, Butter

1 1/2 cups, Broccoli, coarsely chopped

1/2, Onion, chopped

1 cup, Carrots, match-stick cut

1 stalk, Celery, thinly sliced

1/4 cup, Butter, melted

2 1/2 cups, Kraft Cheddar, shredded

2 cups, Milk

2 cups, Chicken stock

To taste, Salt

To taste, Pepper

In a pan, melt 1 tablespoon butter and saute onions until translucent for about 5 minutes. Set aside.

In a saucepan, whisk 1/4 cup melted cutter and flour over medium-low heat. Cook until flour is dissolved and add 1 to 2 tablespoons of milk.

Slowly pour milk flour mixture while whisking constantly. Add chicken stock into milk mixture and simmer. Cook for about 20 minutes, until mixture thickens. Add broccoli, carrots, sauteed onion, and celery; simmer until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Add vegetables and simmer for about 20 minutes, until tender. Stir Kraft Cheddar into mixture until cheese melts. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve in bowls and enjoy!
