Adobong Okra with Cheese

Pork and okra combine for a tasty adobo while cheese adds a crave-able creaminess.

Ingredients

20 YOUNG OKRA, WASHED AND PARBOILED IN 1⁄4 CUP WATER  

1/4 CUP VINEGAR  

1⁄2 CUP DICED PORK  

3 TBSP PATIS  

4 GARLIC CLOVES, CRUSHED  

1 ONION, CHOPPED  

1 TSP PEPPER  

EDEN CHEESE SLICES  

OIL

Method:

Fry pork in oil. Push to one side of the pan.

Saute garlic, onion, and parboiled okra. Season with vinegar, patis, and pepper. Cook until okra is tender-crisp.

Top with Eden cheese slices. Serve.
