Beef Stir Fry with Cheese5 - 10 mins 5 - 10 people
Traditional beef stir fry is made more creamy and exciting with Eden Cheese! Perfect as a rice topping or to pack for baon.
1 LB BEEF SIRLOIN STEAK, CUT INTO THIN STRIPS/SLICES
1/4 CUP SOY SAUCE
1/4 CUP CORNSTARCH
1 THUMB-SIZED GINGER, CUT INTO THIN STRIPS
2-3 GARLIC CLOVES, FINELY CHOPPED
1 SMALL ONION, SLICED
1 SMALL CHAYOTE, SLICED
1 SMALL RED BELL PEPPER, CUT INTO STRIPS
1/2 CUP EDEN CHEESE, CUT INTO CUBES
1/4 CUP OYSTER SAUCE
1 SMALL CARROT, SLICED
In a bowl, marinate the beef strips in soy sauce and cornstarch for at least 15 minutes.
Heat the cooking oil in a wok. Stir fry the marinated beef then set aside.
On the same wok, saute ginger, garlic, and onion. Cook until onion is translucent. Add chayote. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add carrots and bell pepper, then cook for 1 minute.
Add Eden cheese cubes, oyster sauce, and sesame seeds. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Season with pepper. Serve.
