Cheesy Beef Stew5 - 10 mins 5 - 10 people
Enjoy a comforting bowl of beef stew and veggies made creamier with cheese.
1 ONION, CHOPPED
2 GARLIC CLOVES, MINCED
1 KG BEEF STEW MEAT, CUBED
2 CUPS WATER
1 CUP TOMATO SAUCE
1/2 OF A SMALL CAN, LIVER SPREAD
1/2 CUP CARROTS, CUBED AND FRIED
1/4 CUP BELL PEPPERS, CUBED
1/2 CUP POTATOES, CUBED AND FRIED
1 CUP EDEN CHEESE, CUBED
2 TBSP COOKING OIL
In a pot, heat the oil and saute garlic and onions. Add the beef and continue sauteing for 3-5 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and water. Simmer for 30 minutes or until beef has tendered. Add more water if necessary. Add the liver spread then simmer for another 5 minutes.
Put the carrots, potatoes, and bell pepper. Simmer until vegetables are cooked. Adjust seasoning with sugar, salt, and pepper according to taste.
Add Eden cheese cubes and simmer until the sauce has thickened. Serve.
