Cheesy Humba5 - 10 mins 5 - 10 people
Sweet savory Humba pairs perfectly with creamy Eden cheese.
1 TBSP COOKING OIL
1 TBSP GARLIC, CHOPPED
3 TBSP ONIONS, CHOPPED
1/2 KG LIEMPO, CUT INTO 1-INCH CUBES
1 TBSP BLACK BEANS
2 TBSP VINEGAR
1 CUP PINEAPPLE JUICE
4 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
1 TBSP SOY SAUCE
2 CHILIES, DESEEDED AND SLICED
1/4 CUP BANANA BLOSSOMS
1/2 CUP EDEN CHEESE, CUBED
Saute onion and garlic in oil. Add liempo and black beans, then saute for a minute.
Add vinegar and let it simmer. Add pineapple juice, water, brown sugar, soy sauce, chilies, and banana blossoms.
Cook this covered until pork is tender and the sauce has thickened. Add in Eden Cheese and heat for 2 minutes. Serve with hot rice.
