Cheesy Pork Steak Rice Bowl30+ mins 1 - 2 people
Prepare this comforting rice bowl topped with a cheesy, creamy sauce!
1KG PORK, THINLY SLICED
1/4 CUP SOY SAUCE
4 PIECES CALAMANSI
1/2 TSP GROUND BLACK PEPPER
3 GARLIC CLOVES, CRUSHED
1 LARGE ONION, SLICED INTO RINGS
4 TBSP COOKING OIL
165G EDEN ORIGINAL
1/2 CUP FRESH MILK
1/2 CUP EDEN MELTSARAP, GRATED
Marinate pork in soy sauce, calamansi, and ground black pepper for at least 1 hour.
Heat the cooking oil in a pan then stir-fry the onion rings until the texture becomes soft. Set aside.
In the same pan, fry the marinated pork until color turns brown. Set aside.
Saute garlic in the pan. Pour the marinade and bring to a boil. Put in the fried pork and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as needed.
Add the stir-fried onions and salt to taste. Remove from heat and put thinly sliced Eden cheese.
For the cheese sauce, pre-heat a pan and put 1/2 cup fresh milk. Heat milk over a low fire.
Add grated cheese and stir from time to time until the sauce becomes sticky.
Prepare a bowl of hot rice and top with pork steak, cheese sauce, and additional cheese slices as desired.
