Liver Spread Sandwich10 - 15 mins 5 - 10 people
This recipe turns up the tastiness of the liver spread by making it extra creamy.
4 TBSP BUTTER
1/2 CUP ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
1 LB CHICKEN LIVER
2 EGGS, HARD BOILED AND CHOPPED
1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 TSP MUSTARD
1 TBSP PARSLEY LEAVES, CHOPPED
1/2 CUP EDEN SANDWICH SPREAD
In a pan, melt the butter and cook the onions for 3 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Melt 2 tbsp of Eden Sandwich Spread in the same pan. Add the chicken liver and cook for 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside to cool.
Chop chicken liver into small pieces. In a bowl, combine chicken liver with eggs, Eden Sandwich Spread, salt, and mustard. Mix well, then cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
After chilling, use the mixture as a sandwich filling. Add the parsley and hard-boiled egg slices to garnish sandwiches and serve.
