Pinoy Tuna Melt10 - 15 mins 5 - 10 people
A Pinoy take on the classic tuna melt. Your kids will love this as a merienda treat or pambaon for school!
1 SLICE SOURDOUGH BREAD, TOASTED
1/2 CAN TUNK CHUNKS (IN BRINE), DRAINED
2 TBSP JAPANESE MAYONAISE
1 TBSP CILANTRO, CHOPPED
2 SLICES TOMATO
15 GRAMS LETTUCE, PICKED
1 TSP SESAME OIL
50 GRAMS EDEN MELTSARAP GRATED
1 TBSP BUTTER
2 TBSP CREAM
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the cheese and bread. Mix well then set aside.
Place the mixture on top of the toasted sourdough bread.
For the sauce, combine the Eden Meltsarap, butter, and cream in a pot over medium heat. Mix well until the cheese has melted and smooth in texture.
Top the tuna with Eden Meltsarap sauce and broil until golden in color.
