Tofu Sisig with Cheese

Crispy tofu tossed with a rich cheesy sauce makes for a melt-in-your-mouth appetizer!

Ingredients

8 BLOCKS TOFU, CUT INTO QUARTERS  

1 GARLIC CLOVE, MINCED  

1 GREEN BELL PEPPER, CUBED  

4 SILING LABUYO, THINLY SLICED  

1 CUP MAYONNAISE  

1/2 CUP EDEN CHEESE, GRATED  

1/2 CUP OYSTER SAUCE  

WATER  

2 CUPS COOKING OIL

Method:

Deep fry tofu cubes until brown on all sides. Set aside.

In a pan, heat the oil and saute the garlic, onion, bell pepper, and siling l. Set aside.

In a saucepan, heat mayonnaise, oyster sauce, and Eden Cheese.

Add water if too thick. When mixed well, fold into fried tofu. Add the vegetables. Serve while hot.
