1/2 cup Eden Sandwich Spread
1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
1/3 cup Dill
Salt & Pepper, to taste
4 halves Skinless Boneless Chicken Breast
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
4 pieces Pita Bread
4 pieces Lettuce Leaves
1/2 piece Red Onion, thinly sliced
1 piece Tomato, chopped
Step 1 In a bowl, combine Eden Sandwich Spread, garlic, lemon juice, and dill. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Cover and set aside.
Step 2 Season chicken breast halves with Italian seasoning. Cook in a pan over medium heat for 6 minutes, or until slightly browned and tender. Remove from heat, cool and cut into strips.
Step 3 Assemble gyros by laying the pita bread. Place lettuce, chicken strips, red onions, and tomatoes.
Step 4 Top with prepared Eden Sandwich Spread sauce. Fold over pita to enclose.
